The JTYAF supports a wide range of youth organisations. Here is the list of local organisations we work with to support their young people, helping them to achieve their dreams.
The JTYAF now supports 18 organisations based in Dorset and Wiltshire. Some of the organisations supported by the JTYAF do not have an application process as their award winners are nominated by their staff.
Applications are reviewed throughout the year and awards decisions are mainly made by the group the young person belongs to. There are no strict deadlines, which allows appilicants to seek support as needs arise.
The JTYAF supports young people from a wide range of youth organisations providing them with scholarships and bursaries to support their personal development and the pursuit of their ambitions.

The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) was set up in memory of John Thornton who was tragically killed in Afghanistan in 2008.
The JTYAF provides opportunities for young people to help them to develop as individuals and fulfil their ambitions in life as John was able to do.
