These Boots Were Made For Walking

A 15 year old from Weymouth who is participating in the Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award has had funding to help with the cost of a pair of walking boots and a sleeping bag.
He is helping at the local food bank as the volunteering element of his award and we hope that his JTYAF bursary will help him to achieve his expedition. Participants choose where and how they want to do their expedition and develop many life skills by planning, training for and completing an adventurous self-sufficient journey as part of a team.
