The JTYAF has funded 10 weeks of 2-hour Forest School sessions which will be offered to 15 children per session within the school day.  Research has shown that this child-centred learning process can increase a child’s confidence and self-esteem, as they problem-solve and learn through experiential learning in the outdoor environment.

The children taking part will have improved opportunities to develop their talents and interests and enjoy this rich outdoor experience, which may not otherwise be available to them.
