Bursary for Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme

A 15 year old from Weymouth received a bursary to support her enrolment onto the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme and we recently received this lovely letter from her.

I am writing to you in order to express my gratitude and thank you for awarding me a bursary to support my involvement in the Duke of Edinburgh scheme.
I am excited to be part of this important and inspiring scheme and have already found that it has benefitted my confidence and development as a young person who wants to explore their skills and capabilities.
The bursary has been put toward enrolment and expedition fees and for this I would once again lik to express my deepest thanks.
