A pupil at Ferndown Middle School has recently qualified to compete at National level in Trampolining. A remarkable achievement but particularly for this young person. Following a serious injury three years ago they have returned to the sport at National level and aim to achieve International Competition standard by 2015. This inspirational young athlete has shown incredible courage, determination and total committment to their sport. We are extremely pleased to be able to support them with funding for a specialised personal trainer to help rebuild strength, flexibility and stamina.
The JTYAF supports young people from a wide range of youth organisations providing them with scholarships and bursaries to support their personal development and the pursuit of their ambitions.
