Our Abba/70’s tribute show with the Land Girls at the Barrington Centre was a really successful event, raising over £1000 for John’s Foundation.

Centre Stage School Principal, Zoë Mather, recently presented the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation with a fantastic £1500, which was raised by all the students and their friends and families.

Congratulations to all members of the Lean Mean Pulling Machine, who spent their August Bank Holiday Monday pulling a Boeing 737, weighing in at 35,000 Kg, a distance of 50 metres for charity at the Dorset Plane Pull. 

Paul recently organised his 7th JTYAF Curry Night at the Cinnamon Indian Restaurant in Ferndown and what a great night it was.

The JTYAF Vintage Afternoon Tea with the fabulous Land Girls, raised an amazing £2104! 

The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation was founded almost 16 years ago and has recently reached an incredible milestone.

These outstanding young people have now raised more than £20,0000 for John’s Foundation, a fantastic fundraising achievement which will support a great many young people to follow their dreams.

A huge thank you to Julie and all the members at Ferndown Golf Club, who supported the JTYAF so generously. To raise £11,436 is testament to the kindness and generosity of all those who contributed and an achievement to be truly proud of.

Huge thanks to our lovely Emily for organising the 4th JTYAF Christmas Bingo night at the Cumberland Hotel.  She has built this event into an extremely successful and popular evening which was sold-out weeks before the night. 

A great big JTYAF THANK YOU to Wimborne District Guides who raised a fantastic £300 during their World Thinking Day celebrations.

Our VIP Hospitality Day at the Bournemouth Air Festival was a roaring success raising £6700 for John’s Foundation. 

The new President of Ferndown & Parley Rotary Club, Bill Dinwoodie, has kindly selected the JTYAF as his charity of support and we are looking forward to an exciting year ahead.

The 4th Fly Fishing Event organised by Paul Hooker in support of John’s Foundation (JTYAF) raised an amazing £501!

We were privileged to have the opportunity to join Barbara and Phil at their recent ‘Walk in the Woods’ Coffee Morning.

The JTYAF was delighted to be selected by the Lodge of the Meridian for a fabulous donation of £250.00
